Hello, HOPE-lovers and welcome to Thankful Thursday!
The day of Thanksgiving may have passed, but each day provides a new opportunity to grow in gratitude. So, let’s continue our encounter with thankfulness through the Psalms to discover and develop the practice of being thankful.
No sooner than dinnertime on Thanksgiving Day were we assaulted with materialism and the insatiable desire for more. I honestly and wholeheartedly believe that if you take this pursuit seriously, your life WILL CHANGE.
Ready?

Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous, and give thanks to his holy name!
Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!
Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples!
Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!…Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise.
Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!…And let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, and tell of his deeds in songs of joy!
Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man!
I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations.
With my mouth I will give great thanks to the Lord; I will praise him in the midst of the throng.
Praise the Lord! I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart, in the company of the upright, in the congregation.
I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the Lord.
“No matter the depth of discouragement or discontent, God will always give me a way of escape called gratitude.” ~ Steven Furtick
